Cleaning Solutions

Our spray nozzles are used in a wide variety of cleaning systems inside breweries and distilleries, Food production plants, chemical processing plants etc... to ensure a high level of hygiene in inaccessible or hostile environments. Our spray nozzles are used in a wide variety of cleaning systems inside breweries and distilleries to ensure a high level of hygiene in inaccessible or hostile environments. Mash tun cleaning, foam breaking, bottle washing, keg washing and conveyor lubrication are just some of the many applications our nozzles are used for within the distilling and brewing industry.

Our nozzles are manufactured in high quality 316L Stainless steel and other materials suitable for the food industry. Within the brewing industry Delavan's spray nozzles are used to clean the excess grains that have built up after the brewing process inside tanks. The efficiency and impact of our nozzles can  clean any dried up sediments in even the most difficult areas. Delavan manufacture a wide variety of CIP (Cleaning in Place) nozzles ranging from under floor cleaning to 360° high impact cleaning.

Case Study 1:

A brewery equipment manufacturer who install and commission brewery equipment for Craft, Micro, Regional and National brewers, with installations throughout the UK and as far a field as Japan came to us, as they wanted a solution to washing all the left over deposits, that fell through the wedge wire false bottom flooring located just below the Mash Tun.  After a lot of deliberation the solution to their problem was our PU pintle nozzle angled at 120 degrees.  In this situation, due to limited liquid available the customer planned to spray a specific area of the tank at one time. The PU pintle allows the customer to move the nozzle in the direction needed.

This specific nozzle was chosen, as we needed to keep the distances between the nozzle and point of contact to its maximum, or it would have hindered the spray angle, which was essential in this cleaning process.
