Some things are just meant to go together.
- Socks and shoes. Peanut butter and jelly. Batman and Robin
And now, thanks to an exciting new licensing agreement, you can add another pair to that list.
UTC Aerospace Systems and Lufthansa Technik
Two Global MRO Leaders - - One innovative approach
Airlines are increasingly looking for ways to keep their costs down. One way they do that is by outsourcing the maintenance of their fleets to experts - like us and Lufthansa Technik (LHT). From small, regional carriers to the world's largest airlines, our Worldwide Repair team is known for meeting customs' needs with innovative technologies that deliver unparalleled benefits.
But as the industry evolves, so do the needs of our customers. To meet these needs, we're collaborating with LHT on an innovative approach to streamline the repair process for Pratt & Whitney Engine Systems components on the Geared Turbofan engines that power the Airbus A320neo and A220 (formerly knwon as the Bombardier C Series)
A Win-Win Arrangement
This agreement covers a broad spectrum of services across avionic, pneumatic and fuel-related components, such as engine control units and integrated fuel pump and control units. This will significantly impact our top line growth, as the agreement has an estimated value of more than $500 million over the life of the program.
What's more, we'll continue to provide cusotms with maximum value and superior service: By applying the wear and tear patterns we observe during repairs, we'll further enhance the aftermarket experience for operators.
Lastly, working with LHT extends our global reach and gives us additional access to customs that could lead to new business opportunities.
